Kids and toys are inseparable. Toys influence a child’s physical, mental and psychological well being. With it comes the act of playing wherein a child is provided a chance to learn and grow. Toys play an important role in child psychology as it provides a bridge between a kid’s imagination and reality. It stimulates a child’s thoughts and imagination; it teaches about the role of colors, sizes, shapes, the alphabet, the power of touch, etc.
As parents, your role is to choose the proper toys that are suitable for your children. Educational toys for example, foster the development of new skills and learning abilities of a child and will leave an imprint that a child can utilize as he enters adulthood. By playing with the proper toys, a child will learn about independence and creativeness. In choosing toys, parents must focus on safety. Also, know your child’s abilities and give him a toy that is suitable for his age. Most importantly, play with your child. Use this time to bond with your child and spend quality time with him.
